Week 38 Monster Attack

This weeks assignement was Monster Attack. The monster is the fridge in the communal kitchen at my home, and the man in the picture is myself, innocently walking to my room down the murky, orange hallway.

Week 36 Zombies and Cheerleaders

This weeks class assignement was Zombies and Cheerleaders, and this is my contribution. I ended up spending way too much time on sketching and drawing, and then I had too little time to spend on the coloring, but that's just how it goes sometimes.
Here are also some doodles I did beforehand.

Greeting cards

Summer appears to be the time for birthdays. I have been to several already, and will have more coming in the next months. Here are some of the birthday cards I have made for my friends. They are all done with pen on cardboard. The background is actually whiter than it appears, but I shot these with my new digital camera instead of scanning them. Enjoy!

Showreel before KAU

This is my showreel for when I applied to KAU. Some of this is animation I have done myself. The parts from Princess is mostly assistant and clean up work. In the parts from Villa Volvo and Vicky where Sven, the man in the suit, falls out the door, there are two shots that aren't mine, but that I kept for the sake of consistency and timing in the sequence.

Exam for the summer 2008

This is my exam after the first year at KAU, showing Bernard from The Rescuers. I had one week for the assignement, which is handdrawn on paper.

Week 24 Steampunk

The theme of the week is steampunk.

Joyful on a Boat

This is an animation project we had at school a while back. Two and two students got two bowls with pieces of paper, and drew one piece from each bowl. On one piece of paper was a mood, on the other one a location. We were to combine them, and use a week to create an animated film, no more than 30 seconds long. Me and Ercan got "joyful" "on a boat" and combined them into this nice little film. I am quite pleased with how it turned out.

Week 23 Martial Arts

A couple of students in my class have banded together and are going to publish weekly drawings based on a common theme. This week, the first in what will hopefully be a long line of weeks, the assignement is martial arts. My contribution is based around the concept of the one inch punch.
